Cradle to Career Muncie Strategic Communication Campaign.
Overview
For this project, I developed a full strategic communication plan for Cradle to Career Muncie (C2C), a local educational initiative in partnership with Ball State University and the George and Frances Ball Foundation. The campaign’s objective was to support and promote C2C’s mission to improve educational access and outcomes for youth in Muncie’s Promise Neighborhoods.
I conducted a situational analysis, SWOT, audience and message mapping, and developed a comprehensive set of strategies and measurable tactics tailored to community outreach, partnership building, and educational support. Through traditional PR tools, grassroots engagement, and community-based messaging, the campaign was designed to overcome barriers like poverty and digital inaccessibility.
The plan concluded with a detailed evaluation and measurement system aligned to tactics, ensuring the campaign could adapt in real-time and demonstrate impact across all communication efforts. The entire campaign reflected a collective-impact philosophy, empowering local stakeholders and families to collaboratively reshape the future through education.
