For this assignment, we were challenged to promote an everyday, universally known product — one that typically escapes the spotlight in advertising — and find a fresh, creative angle that would make people look at it differently. I chose bananas.

The goal was to elevate this staple fruit through a strategically crafted campaign that blended emotional appeal with practical storytelling. I began by developing a creative strategy brief that outlined the brand voice, target audience, and messaging pillars. From there, I explored concept-driven headlines and visual treatments that positioned bananas not just as food, but as a symbol of simplicity, energy, and joy.

 

The campaign embraced a playful yet refined tone, focusing on the banana’s everyday versatility — whether tossed into a smoothie, packed in a lunchbox, or eaten on the go. This project pushed me to find originality in the familiar and proved how thoughtful design and narrative can make even the most common products feel compelling and new.
